Answer: What I think it means is that he has just missed another thing that could have bin a disaster for there family because his mother, his sister, and him are waiting for there dad to come home from Afghanistan. So that is why I think that it's meaningful to Marcus and his family. What it says about a Marcus and his family is that they are strong with out there dad bin there.
Do the characters seem real and believable? Can you relate to their predicaments? To what extent do they remind you of yourself or someone you know?
Answer: I think he seems realy real because I know that familys are going throught the same thing is happing to alot of people all over the world, so that is why I think that is realy real. No I can not relat to him at all because he lives a millitary life and i just live a normal sitasin life. He reminds me a bite of my self becuase he and i think a little a like, like about going in the girls pers and being shy most of the time. So that is what I and him have in common.
Answer: My first inpression of the book after the first chapter was that it was boring because all had talk about was the dad being gone to war,and about who poor the base is.
